About storage
No, you don't. When you store things at Pelican, you don't have to worry about moisture or frost in your storage unit. All our storage units are heated and we have modern ventilation systems to keep your belongings safe and secure.
We have storage and warehouse spaces from 1 m2 and upwards, where the vast majority of storage units have generous ceiling heights. You can get more information about our sizes by contacting us on 020 - 340 340.
Yes, and it's free. If you suddenly need an extra or smaller storage unit, we can help you quickly and easily. We can either offer you a new storage unit or an additional storage unit. It's all up to you.
You can access your storage unit between 5:30 and 22:00 every day of the year. If you need assistance, our stores are open on weekdays between 10:00 and 18:00. You can find the opening hours of your local Pelican location here.

Unique solutions
In Sundbyberg we have 20 large Premium warehouses on the ground floor designed for corporate customers. These premises are large, up to 100sqm with large windows for lovely light, extra heating, access to electricity, water and personal alarms.
We have combined the traditional warehouse with the possibility of having a workspace - whether it is an administrative workspace, a workshop or a warehouse that meets your needs.
Premium storage is a new and very popular storage product where we have combined the storage space with the possibility to organize your administrative workplace, workshop or showroom in the same room.
You get a room with windows and plenty of natural light, installed heating that you can adjust yourself and electricity.
And should you need more space for a shorter or longer period, you always have access to rent extra storage space adapted to your current needs.
Flex warehouses are from 35 m² to 100 m².

Yes, in Täby we have large parking lots for motorhomes and the like. Each parking space is 3 x 9 meters. Contact us today for availability.
Booking
When you book a storage unit, you will receive a confirmation email.
Within 24 hours we will contact you regarding the booking.
No, the booking is free and non-binding.
Payment is only made once the contract is signed.
We want it to be easy and convenient for you as a customer, so we have no commitment periods on our agreements. If you cancel your storage unit or storage space before the 15th of the month, your contract will end on the last day of the same month.
When renting a storage unit, you must bring a photo ID and have access to BankID.

Yes, you can. If you need a trailer, you can borrow it for free or book it in advance for a small fee through the "Freetrailer" app. Read more about free trailers here.
Yes, we do. From moving boxes to bubble wrap, you can buy everything in our stores. Stop by one of our stores or see the range of materials here.
Payment
When you rent a storage unit at Pelican, the first payment is made online or in one of our stores depending on where you rented the unit. After that, you pay either by Autogiro or email invoice.
We have no start-up costs, the only thing that is added is 199,- for a new unique lock for your storage unit if you do not have a lock from before that fits.

At Pelican, we care about security, which is why we use special security locks.
If you've used Pelican before and have a Pelican lock, you can reuse it.
If you don't have a Pelican lock, you'll need to buy one in store.
Yes, we do. We accept most Swedish and international credit cards.
Usually we will give you a friendly reminder to pay.
If you don't respond to our reminders, you risk being charged a fee.
If you continuously fail to respond to any of our requests, we will be forced to block your storage.
Safety and insurance
Yes. Pelican requires your storage unit to be insured.
The price varies depending on the value of the items you store.
In the unlikely event of an accident, please contact our staff.
They can help you through the insurance process so that you receive your compensation as soon as possible.
Storage for businesses
Yes, at Pelican, business customers can dispose of cardboard and other combustibles in our containers so you don't have to waste time disposing of waste elsewhere.
Yes, our staff can receive your deliveries, both pallets and parcels. During this time, we can receive your parcels and store them safely until you can come by and pick them up at your storage location. You will receive an SMS from us when we have taken delivery for you.
Yes, we do. All our facilities have various tools such as pallet jacks, piers and ladders that you can borrow for free from the shop.
Some of our storage units are equipped with electrical outlets.

Yes, you can. If you have a garage storage unit, you can park right in front of your garage for loading and unloading. In some of our facilities, you can even drive a truck right up to your storage unit. What's more, parking at our facilities is free for all customers.
Other issues
Yes, you are always welcome to stop by the shop for a free cup of coffee!
If you lose your keys, you must report this to us immediately by email or phone, and then you can also order the old lock to be drilled. Sometimes it can take a day or so to get the lock drilled, so please contact the staff immediately before you visit us if you need drilling.
This costs 499kr to book a drill.
If you wish to cancel your storage unit, Pelican must receive the notice by the 15th of a month in order for the move-out to take place at the end of the same calendar month at the earliest. If you have any questions or are unsure about the termination rules, please contact your local Pelican location.
Yes, all our customers can park for free in the Pelican lot when traveling to their storage or warehouse.
Do not store flammable materials, food or illegal items.
